I graduated from Westminster College in 2018 with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Mild to Moderate Special Education. I have always had a love for working with kids and I am so happy that I have been able to pursue this path in my life. I was born and raised in Layton, Utah. I have attended private Catholic schooling from kindergarten to High School. I went to Saint Joseph's Elementary in Ogden, Utah and then moved down to Judge Memorial Catholic High School. I have been lucky enough to play volleyball at the collegiate level and work with young athletes, coaching it on the side. Along with volleyball, I also enjoy hiking, running, and being with my family. I have been so fortunate to travel to India with my college to teach students english and I got to work closely with students with disabilities on an Art mural that brought communities together. With this we traveled to the Taj Mahal and learned all about the Indian culture. We were brought into a High School to teach english in a variety of creative ways to the students. We then got to go to a school for children and people with disabilities. I was able to work one on one with various students reading to them, dancing with them, and teaching them how to paint. It was an amazing and humbling experience. I really truly believe this time in my life shaped me into the teacher that I am today and the teacher that I will be in the future.
